Orlando Sheppard built his career around one simple principle: the “little guy” deserves serious representation. As Co-Founder of Garcia Sheppard, he brings that commitment to every client he represents.
Raised in Panama City, Florida, Orlando has called Orlando home since 2008. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2012, then went on to graduate cum laude from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2015. He later added an MBA from the University of Florida to his credentials. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015, he has since expanded his practice to Georgia, Maryland, and multiple federal courts nationwide.
While working at a prominent personal injury firm in Orlando during law school, he watched how quickly an accident could unravel someone’s life. He saw what happened when that person had a compassionate, diligent attorney in their corner. The difference was undeniable. From that point forward, he committed himself to being that attorney for every client he represents.
Outside the office, Orlando is just as invested in his community. He serves on the board of Life Beyond Adversity, a non-profit that helps urban youth facing socio-economic hardship further their education and build the skills to make better decisions for their futures. He is also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and currently serves as President-Elect of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, one of the region’s most respected local bar organizations.
